Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie – Opinion

Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie airs November 24th, 7pm on Nickelodeon.

90s animation fans are in for a Thanksgiving treat this year, as the highly anticipated Hey Arnold! movie is finally released. The movie picks up where the original series finale left off – Arnold going on a quest to achieve his dream of finding his missing parents. Executives are so confident that people will want to see it, that The Jungle Movie will be simulcast on three channels: Nickelodeon, TeenNick and Nicktoons.

The original creative team is back, but main characters Arnold and Gerald will be voiced by new talent. (Look out for the two original voice actors in a small cameo roll.) The rest of the cast reprised their roles, like Harold, Rhonda, Olga, Mr. Simmons, Stella, Ernie, and loads more.

Need to reacquaint yourself with Arnold’s world? NickSplat has devoted a week of programming to air every single episode of Hey Arnold! beginning Friday, November 17th.

Debuting in 1996, Hey Arnold! helped usher in a new era of groundbreaking animation on TV, and was a much loved addition to Nickelodeon’s lineup. It’s continued relevance shows how passionate fans are about cartoons from their childhood, and explains why Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie is just one of three revivals Nick has planned. Rocko’s Modern Life and Invader Zim are up next.
