When you hear the words ‘game show host,’ Snoop Dogg probably isn’t the first name to pop into your head. As it turns out, the entertainment icon is a great fit for the laid-back vibe of The Joker’s Wild.
TBS’s updated take on the classic game show goes beyond the original’s slot machine set, and places this revival in a full casino. While the gigantic slot machine remains a major feature, entertaining mini-games replace the straight trivia questions. Giant dice, playing cards, streetwise questions and problem solving, not just book smarts, rule the floor. Snoop D-O Double G Is clearly having a blast.
The Joker’s Wild is perfect for those looking for a game show with comedic edge. It is a welcome addition to TBS’s growing library of original content.
