Green Eggs and Ham: Season 1 – Review

Green Eggs and Ham is now streaming on Netflix.

I wanted to write this review in rhyme,
but then I realized those things take time.

So instead of an essay I’ve written points below,
to help decide if you’ll watch this show.

The creators have definitely stretched the book out,
you’ll have no idea what this show is about.
Despite what you and your children might wish,
these ten episodes go beyond a certain breakfast dish.

The acting is great, search for the cast online.
They’ve got Michael Douglas and Adam Devine!

To pick up on all the gags won’t take a wiz,
this series is not as smart as it thinks it is.
To be sure, it’s for the children,
But a little creativity wouldn’t have killed ’em.

All in all, it was quite charming,
nothing I watched was too alarming.
Your tots will want you to press play,
yet I suggest you run away.

I give Green Eggs and Ham a B-.
