Comic Con for countries. That’s how I would describe the New York Times Travel Show, a yearly travel convention for both those in the tourism industry and folks just looking to plan their next vacation. TV and City headed to the Javits Center in Manhattan on Sunday, January 26 to take in the scene.
Our favorite booths included Dubai, which came out strong on the show floor. South Korea also provided many activities for attendees to take part in. You can then turn around to find yourself in Brazil and then take a step sideways to land in Costa Rica. I really recommend checking out the event next year. Tickets are sold for as low as $15.
A yearly tradition of mine is perusing the section at the Travel Show dedicated to New York state. The booth workers are always happy to provide information and tips for trekking across the variety of trips the wider empire state has to offer outside the five boroughs.
