New York sure knows how to celebrate Mean Girls Day!
This year, Big Apple residents had two ways to participate. (Besides rewatching the movie, of course.) The first was to purchase tickets to the upcoming Mean Girls Broadway musical, opening April 8th at the August Wilson Theatre.
The second involved something everyone loves: free food! A Mean Girls branded food truck made its way through the streets of Manhattan, handing out cheese fries (a nod to the movie) and pink sunglasses. Even cooler, Tina Fey, who wrote the movie and stage play, was on hand to deliver the goods to lucky fans.
