This past summer, I had the pleasure of interning at Tablet, a popular Jewish-interest online magazine. The experience gave me incredible opportunities to hone my journalism skills. I also learned the inside workings of a real media outlet. It was so much fun, and being that TV and City is on a bit of a hiatus while I’m abroad, every so often I’ll be sharing my entertainment-related pieces from Tablet here. Enjoy!
Back in July, it was announced that a Batwoman TV series is in development. It’ll be another addition to The CW’s already impressive roster of DC Comics superheroes shows (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, etc.). I spotted a couple of tweets that said Batwoman is Jewish in the comics. Combined with the character being a proud lesbian, this made for a great post. Some big names commented on this one.
