At this year’s New York Comic Con, Amazon Prime Video created an unsettling experience based on the eerie, dark, and thought provoking true stories of their new show Lore.
A cross between a haunted house and a photo-op, The Museum of Lore proved a huge hit with the convention crowd.
Three mysterious doors led our team into different occult and supernatural situations, each showcasing one of Lore‘s main storylines. The first room featured an abundance of dolls, a classic horror trope. The second proved a bit more complex, as attendees interacted with a pale lady who raved about spirits. The acting was very immersive.
Lastly, guests entered a bleak dining hall, and received a jump scare in the form of a man dressed in fancy attire soaked in blood. We lined up to take a photo with the delectable selection of hearts, eyes, and other organs on the the dinner table.
On the way out, guests received an exclusive Lore-branded flashlight and notebook.
Despite a long wait time, The Museum of Lore was a NYCC highlight.
Lore premieres on Friday the 13th of October.
