Gwen Stefani’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas – Opinion

Gwen Stefani’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas airs December 12th, 9pm on NBC.

Grammy-winner Gwen Stefani landed her own holiday special this year, and she’s determined to stand up from the pack. Not only does the hour include musical performances from her new Christmas album, but there’s a couple of comedy sketches as well.

Special guests will be in abundance, with Blake Shelton, Chelsea Handler, Ken Jeong, Seth MacFarlane, and NE-YO all stopping by to join the festivities. One of the highlights is Shelton’s duet with Stefani, so stay tuned for that. Jeong and Handler actually provided some good laughs in the Christmas-themed sketches.

Stefani was a great choice for NBC to tap as host; she has an infectious spirit and great fashion sense. Plus it gives her a good platform to promote her album You Make It Feel Like Christmas, which the special is named for. In addition to original songs, she’ll also perform classics like “Jingle Bells,” “Silent Night” and “Santa Baby.”
