This past summer, I had the pleasure of interning at Tablet, a popular Jewish-interest online magazine. The experience gave me incredible opportunities to hone my journalism skills. I also learned the inside workings of a real media outlet. It was so much fun, and being that TV and City is on a bit of a hiatus while I’m abroad, every so often I’ll be sharing my entertainment-related pieces from Tablet here. Enjoy!
Back in early August, season 2 of the criminally underrated Freeform comedy Alone Together premiered. The show is super funny, coasting on the chemistry of its leads Benji Aflalo and Esther Povitsky. I reached out Aflalo over Twitter DMs and conducted an interview. He gave interesting answers! I don’t agree with his takes, but it really elevated this post from being just a mere chat.
