This past summer, I had the pleasure of interning at Tablet, a popular Jewish-interest online magazine. The experience gave me incredible opportunities to hone my journalism skills. I also learned the inside workings of a real media outlet. It was so much fun, and being that TV and City is on a bit of a hiatus while I’m abroad, every so often I’ll be sharing my entertainment-related pieces from Tablet here. Enjoy!

Back in early September, Netflix released ‘The Angel’, an original spy thriller that tried to fill in the blanks in the secret life of Ashraf Marwan, who spied for Israel in the lead-up to the Yom Kippur War. But extreme liberties taken by the filmmakers led to mixed results…
