After a well-received run in NYC back in 2018, comedian Ashley Blaker returns to the city that never sleeps with some hilarious new material. See, Blaker is an ultra-Orthodox Jew, so his stand up sets are unlike anything you’ve probably seen before. He brings a unique and indescribable sensibility to the stage.
This 80-minute show is titled ‘Goy Friendly’ and can be enjoyed by anyone. While focusing on how a friendship with a Muslim changed his perspective on life, Blaker takes the audience through some of the most important pillars of his faith and community, all the while putting a smile on their faces.
Blaker is a funny chap, the kind of guy you’d want to be friends with. I wish he prayed at my synagogue! If you’re already a ‘frum yid,’ or just someone who’s Jew-curious, grab a ticket before he flies back to London.
